How Did Sakura Take Kan National Association arise? After
the meeting holded in Salamanca by: ·
Mr. Boulafha Mimoun Abdel-La. ·
Mr. José Bahamonde Salazar. · Mr. Jorge Carvajal Rodríguez. · Mr. Antonio Prada Alonso. as
members of the steering committee, they agreed to nominate Mr. José
bahamonde as President, Mr. Tomás Vega Casado as Secretary, and Mr.
Boulafha Mimoun as Technical Director for Spain. They
also agreed to establish the Tai-do Spanish Association (Asociación Española
de Tai-Do), with dependence on the Tai-do&Martial Arts International
Federation. This
association was working until 1982, That year, because of political
considerations towards the International Federation, it was determined to
withdraw from the Tai-do&Martial Arts International Federation. “Sakura
Take Kan” Gym was established in 1972, in the city of Salamanca (Spain).
It was affiliated to the Judo And Associated matters Spanish Federation
(Federación Española de Judo y Disciplinas Asociadas) in the 1975-1976
period , during the political transition to democracy for Spain. There
were no civil liberties yet, and there was much tenseness. Due
to some problems with the Judo And Associated Matters Spanish
Federation, The Sakura Take Kan National Association was
established. We had to fight so hard to get the freedom of associate so we
could work without being part of the Spanish Federation. For
All These reasons, the Tai-Do Spanish Association
is one of the pionnering associations of martial Arts in Spain,
thanks to the invaluable colaboration from Mr. José Bahamonde Salazar. All
These efforts to achieve the aims were leaded By Master Boulafha Mimoun,
to whom, until 1991, was hardly conceded with difficulty the renewals of
his residence in spain. So,
the Sakura Take Kan national Asdsociation was established in 1982. In That
assembly, they agreed to contitute an cultural association for all Spain. After
to inform all the international masters Master Boulafha Minoun is related
with of those decisions, it was recommended the establishment of the
National Association Sakura Take Kan (Asociación Nacional Sakura Take
Kan), for all Spain. A
steering committee was nominated, formed by: ·

Manuel García. · José Ángel garcía. · Magdalena Fraile. These
who made all the legal proceedings to constitute the association. Asocación
Nacional Sakura Take Kan was finally registered in December the
twentynineth, in 1982, in the Internal Politics State Office of the
Spanish Ministry of Interior. The
goals of the association are the promotion of the knowing, studying and
teaching, communication and spreading of oriental ways in the fields of
personal growing, by using of massage (tui-na), statics, chinese
gymnastics (Tai-chi), Yoga, and all the activities related to preserve,
promote and develope martial
Arts in their cultural and
sporting aspects, by making courses, conferences, conventions, etc, by
giving information and documentation,
by supporting the creation of teaching centres, and by pursuing the
institutional acknowledge of those teachings and certificates
that allow their professional practice. A
new aim of the Association is to give shelter to several international
associations, such as: ·
The Zen okinawa seidokan Karate Kobudo Renmei. ·
The Okinawa Goju Ryu Karate-Do Sei Bukai. ·
The Motobu Udundi Kobujutsu Kyokai. ·
The Ryu-Kyu Hon Karate Kobudo Kyokai. The
current goal of the Association is to constitute as an european
association, due to it is the european headquarters of several european
and international associations. |
